Author's Biography
Steve Wilson is a British television presenter who has worked on CBBC and This Morning, and has now turned his hand to writing children's books. He created the concept of Hedgehugs along with his talented illustrator wife, Lucy Tapper. Once they had the concept, Steve wrote the story and Lucy produced the illustrations and Hedgehugs was born.

I love the simplicity of this story and the sweet illustrations. I love that I now know where my missing socks have gone and that they have been put to good use - a world without hugs is no world at all...pass me a sock!

Lucy and Steve shared this book with my class of children on world book day. The children really enjoyed the cute story along with finding out some facts about real hedgehogs. Wonderful first book, super for small kids
A delightful story beautifully illustrated. I can certainly see Hattie and Horace having more adventures overcoming their spikes - perhaps producing Harry and Hermione!! Everyone should have hug every day.

A lovely original story, beautifully illustrated. The book is suitable for reading aloud to non-readers but easily tackled by children who have recently mastered the art of reading. A very good introduction to the wonderful world of literature.
