Author's Biography
Professor
Christine Hallett is Director of the UK Centre for the History of
Nursing and Midwifery and Chair of the Association for the History of
Nursing. Christine trained as a nurse and health visitor, practised as a
community nurse and holds first degrees and PhDs in both Nursing and
History.
