Nemesis ex Nihilo

By William Pascoe
Published by Local Legend
Category Science Fiction
April 2010

Synopsis

In 1995, Barry Edwards is an ordinary bloke working on his astrophysics PhD until, one day, he finds what he thinks is a black hole. Years later he re-discovers it. His comfortable and prosaic life becomes a kaleidoscope of unimaginable adventures.

Author’s Bio: William Pascoe is half English, half Australian. He is an immunoparasitologist which totally fails to explain his fascination with cosmology and astrophysics. He gave up research science and professional science long ago. He now works for the Health and Safety Executive and has, arguably, one of the most interesting jobs on the planet.

Author's Biography

â€œ...a story of broad scope with a quite original apocalypse premise. The novel is very easy and enjoyable to read with a fast pace, intriguing plot and occasionally thought provoking ideas.” Science Fiction and Fantasy, Editor: Antony. Dec 2009
â€œNemesis ex Nihilo is a well developed novel... Its real strength lies in the depth of the characters and of the observation of people’s behaviour living on a planet that is facing destruction.”  Waterstones, ST NEOTS
