Synopsis

If I could paint the world, I wonder what colour it would be? the little girl in this story asks herself. Would the sun be yellow? Would the grass be green? From purple cornflakes to pink pandas, Little Lilac Riding Hood to Pea Green and her seven dwarves, her imagination has no limits. But how much does she really want to change the world? Might it be perfect . . . exactly as it is!?

Author's Biography

Sarah Massini was named by the Big Picture Campaign 2008 as “one of the UK’s ten best illustrators”. If I Could Paint the World is the first book she has both written and illustrated. She is also the illustrator of I’d Rather Go to Grandad’s! for Gullane Children’s Books. She lives in Robertsbridge, Sussex, with her husband and son.
