http://www.guardian.co.uk/childrens-books-site/2011/jun/01/review-dead-game" \t 'A brilliant read that will get your heart beating instantly.' 10 out of 10 â€“ Guardian Dead Game is an extraordinary story of triumph over adversity; its message of hope will stay with you long after you have read the final page. Jo Field, Editor.  Dead Game is a beautifully written, unique and intriguing story. Claire Kinton has got a lot to say in this book, both on a basic and on an intellectual and philosophical level. In fact I was so absorbed by it I read nearly the entire book in one sitting without even noticing any time had gone by.  Emily Krempholtz, critique

The first sentence grabs you by the throat and doesn't let up until the last page. It's gripping honest and unswerving daring in opening the author's heart and pouring in such emotion, you cannot help but be moved.
Brilliant!
A powerful read, especially after the loss of one of the most important person in your life. Thanks Claire, you inspired me to remain positive.
Excellent read. Can't wait for the follow ups.
The best book I have had the pleasure of reading in a very long time.
This is a cleverly written book with lovely descriptive pros. It intermingle mythical creatures and memories that confused you about what was happening and where the hero Archie was... just like Archie felt in the story.
Brilliant, well done Claire
