Author's Biography
Joanna Gray started writing after having three children who were full of questions about the world around them. Inspired by them, and their enjoyment of learning from stories, Joanna began to write. She enjoys walking with her family and their dog, reading, and generally enjoying life as much as possible.

A superb book, the text is just right for young children, including Reception and Y1 classes in primary schools. The illustrations are gentle and have sufficient detail to explain the text, but not too much to confuse. A thoroughly excellent book for parents and teachers wanting to explain the water cycle in simple terms.

I recently bought this book after it was recommended to me and I have to say that I was highly impressed. The story is captivating and the pictures are just beautiful. My two children love this book and the story inspired a number of questions about the water cycle. In fact, my eldest recognised the fact that it is a never-ending cycle and that the raindrop's journey was starting all over again - so there is an added bonus that it is also highly educational too!

A truly delightful book that has totally enchanted my children - they've shared it with their classmates at pre-school and drawn pictures and written their own stories and made songs up around the story - it's just glorious.
A charming little book for children!
A charming little story for young children with lots of visual input. One copy wasn't enough for me, I had to order 2 more so that all my grandchildren had access to this beautiful little book. I hope Joanna goes on to write lots more books for children.

My 2 boys absolutely love the story of the little raindrop they each have their favourite parts of the story which they enjoy with beautiful illustrations it is a bedtime favourite in our house with the boys asking me to read it over and over again. I would definetely recommend this book to anyone with children who love to hear and read stories
