Author's Biography
After completing a degree in French and English at Keele University, Carol Wyer became a language teacher in Casablanca, Morocco. She ran the EFL department at a private UK school (a non-magical Hogwarts), set up Language 2000 Ltd, teaching a variety of languages, including basic Japanese, and translated documents.

Carol writes about some serious subjects with great humour. If we dont laugh, we would cry or go mad.
Fabulous read from a quick witted author.
I have read all of Carol's books and everyone is so very hard to put down this particular book is absolutely brilliant fact and funny and definately keeps you wanting to read and read. Carol has worked so hard as always and her work is second to non. I highly recommend this to anyone and if your feeling low you are soon in fits of laughter and feeling much brighter. Carol is a worthy finalist and deserves to win. I cannot wait for her next book and the next.

This is a very funny read. Aimed at women who might have a grumpy old man under their feet, it provides suggestions and humorous advice on how you might keep them entertained.
It was so enjoyable that I might take up some of the activities myself and leave my own grumpy old person to watch television.

I have read all of Carol E Wyer's books. They have all made me laugh. This one is an easy read. It is ideal to pick up and put down again because it is full of facts and funnies. It was something to look forward to every night when I got home from work. from A to Z, Carol comes up with some fantatsic jdeas. You would never imagine some of them possible.
Witty, funny and entertaining. There are some real gems of ideas in this book. Carol Wyer makes you laugh with her asides. I shall have trouble erasing some of the hilarious images that were conjured up whilst reading this book.
I recommend it to anyone.
